1 Pink Lady apple, cored and thinly sliced
2 cinnamon sticks
1 star anise
1 bottle red wine
Peel orange using a vegetable peeler, avoiding white pith; halve and juice orange. In a pitcher, combine orange peel, orange juice, apple, cinnamon, star anise and wine. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours, preferably oveight. Serve over ice.
